Clerk's Cottage, Castle Cottage and Church Cottage are located at the centre of historic Eye, a delightful place to stay with its magnificent Church, wonderful deli', numerous irresistible antique shops and coffee houses, one of our favourite cafes is Cornforth & Cornforth. Eye also has an excellent Chinese take away and popular Fish & Chip shop, not forgetting the cute castle ruin.
Having said that, it is surprisingly undiscovered.
Eye is a small town in the county of Suffolk, East Anglia, England, south of Diss, and on the River Dove.
Only 90 mins by train from London Liverpool St (via Diss) and within easy reach of Norwich, Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds, Eye is around 1 mile from the A140 trunk road between Norwich and Ipswich, approx 3 miles south of Diss.
Surrounded by beautiful countryside Eye itself has a lot on offer with quaint village shops, Eye town trail, ruins of ancient castle, good restaurants and take away.
